from the good old days of 2005, when the place to be on any Wednesday was Encounter's in Pasadena. It was a quiet, friendly club in an old neighborhood bar with a nice pool table, and a friendly DJ. It was one of my favorite clubs, where I always found friends and always had fun. Sadly, it closed suddenly and nothing has really totally replaced it. The Oxwood is the only place to go and while its an old neighborhood bar and has a nice pool table and a nice DJ, its just not the same, and my encounters there are much less often.
