Am I a Diva?

A diva (English pronunciation: /ˈdiːvə/, Italian: [ˈdiːva]) is a celebrated female of outstanding talent in the world of entertainment

The word entered the English language in the late 19th century. It is derived from the Italian noun diva, a female deity.

So, by all definitions, I am not. But by any definition Amyiaa Diva is perfectly named. Here is a pic of us at Cobra. I've known her for a while now, and in addition to being gorgeous, she is smart and funny and very driven to succeed.

I got to meet Morgan Bailey that nite, and she was having a great time. Such a great time, that I got to meet her again the next nite, at Palms, since she had no memory of the nite before. You'd think she would remember being a party to this decidely unholy trinity LOL

4 on the Fourth

Here are some really safe and sane fireworks. Aubrey, Alyssa Paris and Valerie, all celebrating the 4th of July at the Palms. I didn't get the memo that it was little black dress nite. Not that I would have followed it, I always wear something red white or blue for Independence Day.

here is another pic, without Valerie and another with Melissa, who is a good friend I have done a couple of pageants with. She has won several whereas I have always finished in the top 20 (so long as there were 20 contestants or less LOL )

Not that anyone is actually reading this blog, but in the unlikely event someone should stumble across it, please go visit Buddy Wood at his site. I've been Buddy's unofficial social secretary since he moved to LA from San Diego. I'm also his unofficial caterer, bringing donuts or other goodies to the after parties, and on occasion am his unofficial (designated) driver to pageants and special events. But mostly, I'm Buddy's buddy and happy to be so.

De Balm Squad

I'm everything but linear in this blog, since this post is about Vo De Balm's birthday party, which was the week before Bob's T-girls Anniversary party. I'm following my muse, not a calendar. Anyhow, I went to Vo's party with my friend Christy and had a wonderful time. Vo is beautiful and gracious and I have really enjoyed getting to know her over the last few years. She put on a great party though I don't think she got to enjoy it as much as I did since she spent the entire night meeting and greeting her guests and fans. her generosity that way extended to sending me the pic her photographer took of us the very next day, and to dropping me a nice line thanking me for coming the party.

Which Hazel?

Why, Hazel Tucker, of course. my honorary niece. I'm on her blog

Its pics from Bob's T Girls 10th anniversary bash. I wasn't supposed to be able to make it but my plans changed at the last minute, so I ended up being part of the party. And part of the party photos too. It was a great night, I got to see and be seen with so many friends. Like Hazel, and Olivia and Natassia and Mia. And Vo, of course.

here are just a few more.
