Another Candle in the Wind

A bright spark of light and warmth has flickered cruelly and too soon out. My friend Alexis Rivera has passed away. I'd known her for years and while we may never have been the closest of friends, I would see her often and it was always a pleasure to do so. She was truly a beautiful person, inside and out and hers was always a strong but compassionate voice and the path we all walked on together was better with her at our side, and is now colder and darker with her gone. Please, honor her life and her memory, by reaching out to, and by speaking out for, this small dysfunctional family we call the TG community, the way she graced and embraced it, always.
