Nite Spots

just a quick pic from a fun Friday at the Palms.  They've really worked hard to improve this venue, with new decor, better seating and an expanded show, while keeping the same low cover and same friendly, generous bartenders..  This hard work has paid off, with bigger and better crowds.  If you have never been, now is the time to give it a try.  If you haven't been for a while, now is the time to pay it another visit. Hands down. you will have fun!

Trans Wednesdays

there is a new TG nite in the LA area.  Wednesdays at the Oxwood, hosted by my friend Naomi.  I went for the first nite and had such a great time, I've been back there at least 3 more times.  Causal, with no show, and cozy, with no cover, its just a friendly midweek place to meet or make friends.

Vanity Flair

I've been friends with Vaniity for years.  She is always in and out of the scene and up and down the state, so its always a pleasant surprise to see her, like I did at the Oxwood back in July.   She has such presence and energy and vitality, even though we were both in mesh and lace, hers clearly showed the most flair.

My friend Linda showed her own kind of flair, if not flare in a hot fluorescent orange look

Making Tracks

but it was more running around then being run over :)  pics from a nite in July where I went solo, with my usual running mates out of town.  I idled  in Hollywood before cruising over Mulholland to the Oxwood where I ran into my friend Angel  and then hit up Club Cobra for some after hours fun with my friends Suzy and Carla before hightailing it home just as the night turned the corner into dawn.
