in more ways than one,  with a debt of gratitude for my very good friend Lora, for all she does for the community.  She has kept Club Shine going at the Oxwood for several years now, and tries to make each Saturday party  a red letter one!

Monday in Black  LOL  Back in April some unknown cosmic force caused everyone to show up at the Palms wearing black.  While we do get some strange men in there, I'm pretty sure they are all terrestrial, so we all kept our blaster's holstered, and if anyone has no memory of that nite, its due to alcohol, not a flashy device.

 That's Katrice, Gia and Dania, Viva and Sabrina and one of me doing my impersonation of Neil Armstrong  (get it??  LOL)

3 year Anniversary!

like breadcrumbs in a fairy tale forest, you have to be able to backtrack  to know where you are going.  Looking behind I'm amazed that its been 3 years since I started this blog and this is the 500th post.  It's been viewed nearly 185,000 times, and averages over 9,000 page views a month.  There are 132 people who are nice (or bored) enough to have subscribed and 215 have been kind enough to comment

All this shows I really  haven't been loafing :)

I may not be Gretel but certainly am grateful to everyone who  has appeared in or been a part of this journey :)
