White as a sheet

or in white, next to some :)  pics from a recent Friday night at the newly remodeled Palms in West Hollywood.  They have put a lot of effort into improving the atmosphere and layout of the club, and I think they've done a great job.  If you haven't been before, you should check it out.  If you haven't been in a while, you should check it out too.  Its a great place to get a few sheets to the wind :)

Katt's meow

I wanted to give a shout out Jon Ed and all of his fabulous crew from Trannystrip.com. They came from NYC and showed LA a thing or two about how to party, with a Tranny Awards Celebration at the old location for Peanuts on the Monday after the event. After we helped get the word out for a few weeks beforehand, the place was packed and it ended up being a Peanuts reunion as well. It was great to see people I hadn't seen since the old location closed., and every one had a really great time. The remodeled club was really nice and hopefully will be the site of some future events. A monthly night would probably a be a huge success, if there are any sponsors or aspiring promoters reading this blog :)

There was a no camera policy, and I missed the Red Carpet, so I only got a few pics at closing, courtesy of my friend Scott, who was one of the official photographers for the event

After the party, we were invited back to the really fabulous Hollywood Hills house that they rented for the week and since there was no no camera policy in effect there, I had to take a little advantage . I'm a house Katt too, not just an alley one :)

The Tranny Awards

The Tranny Awards are always a really fabulous event, with a lot of congenial glamour. I always attend, even though I'm never going to be a nominee, let alone a winner I just go and as Krissy4u one of the winners tweeted afterwards, roam and chat with with my friends and the occasional fan. The third annual event back in February was bigger and better than ever, because there were so many friends, old and new from all over, to meet and mingle with, and a good time like that is its own reward (or award)
