Fond of Fontini

some pics from Pamela Fontini's birthday party at Sexy Bitch in Hollywood. She is such a sweetheart, and is one of my favorite girls here in the LA scene. She is a talented performer and very active in the community and even though she calls everyone else Mami, is really the one who is a mother to many of the latina girls., even the honorary ones like me :) . One of my best memories of her was when we were both backstage at a pageant a few years back. She was performing and I was assisting a contestant and we both snuck up to the side of the stage to peek out past the curtains and watch for a bit and she reached out and held my hand, like we were sisters. And since that moment, we are, in my heart.

Speaking of pageants, there is a pic of me and Ms Karina who puts on the pageants here in LA and Leslie, who usually dazzles in them. And one pic of me I'm kinda fond of as well.

just a quickie post, of me in a colorful dress at Cobra with my niece Hazel. I always love seeing her, even if its not as often as it used to be. I just wish the times between would go by as fast as the time seems to when we get to spend it together.

I'm in this new video. Don't blink or you might miss me :) But with so many people having such a good time its good to be included even for a few moments. You can try freeze frame, but a better idea is to come out to one of Jamie's T Girl nites soon and catch me and all the fun in real time.

just a cute pic of me and Britney from a recent nite at Blue Moon. She is such a fun and refreshing girl. totally caring yet completely uninhibited. She always brings a positive energy, whether is putting guys under her spell in person, or putting a spell checker through its paces online. Its always nice to see her or hear from her because even if it may come off as rite awn, she is usually right on.

This report is so good, I'm re-posting it in its entirety _______________________________________________________________ TGirl Nights Special Event Report!! Jamie's TGirl Saturday @ Rhythm Lounge, Long Beach _________________________________________________________________ The Saturday Report: After July's TGirl Saturday, I kept thinking how do I make an event better than that? Well with our new club venue, Rhythm Lounge, the potential was all there. It was just a matter of making it happen. Well guess what? Our event at Rhythm Lounge came through with flying colors! A great turnout of 350 people, incredible performances of Patricia and Johanna and DJ Zach Moos cranking up the dance floor, everyone emphatically said to me "We love this club!" In Rhythm Lounge, I have found a real gem of a venue, one that "wowed" everyone that attended. Located in the center with an AMC Movie Theater, everything we needed to accommodate our community was in place... reasonable drink prices, super friendly bar staff, parking spaces right in the building parking structure plus easy street parking and a great layout for a club, one that has options to hold as many as 500 people! A block away from some excellent restaurants in Downtown Long Beach, our new club has an upscale look and feel to it. The club is divided into two rooms. the main club room where you enter along with an additional area we call "The Lounge" which opens at midnight. The Lounge has more tables, chairs and couches and I'm already making plans to give that room a more "living room" feel. We are very excited about our relationship with Rhythm Lounge! After one more Saturday, our Huge Halloween Party, Saturday, October 30th @ Hamburger Marys, we will return to the Rhythm Lounge for our Spectacular Christmas/Holiday Party on Saturday December 18th. 2011 Jamie's TGirl Saturdays will be at Rhythm Lounge! TGirl Tuesdays @ Hamburger Marys are still one of the best weeknight parties around! ___________________________________________ Now, let me take you through the parties exciting moments, a special night and a prelude to more fun in the near future! ___________________________________________ You Tube Video from Rhythm Lounge! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ One of our best Video Productions of one of our Hottest nights! With the End of Summer Beach Party for Labor Day Weekend, it seemed only appropriate to have our photo vignette be a beach set. It turned out to be a great idea as the pictures look like postcards! Johanna joined us out on the sand Sunscreen not provided, but it was Hot out there! Marc and Jennifer say Surfs Up! (singing) I wish they all could be California Girls! Nicole made a special trip from Colorado to come party with us! Hey, Look what the "Katt dragged in" :) (Felisha Katt) Surfer Girl and Surfer Boy! ______________________________________________________ A New Club, A Hot Party! What better way to help people find us but a couple of brightly dressed (and scantly clad) Drag Queens, Big Dee and Javonna Stranger. Out in front of the Movie Theater Box Office on Pine Ave. we made sure people could find us. See how easy that was? Even Irv found them! Our Performer Johanna coming up the stairs from the Plaza to the club and the girls started to arrive... Hey, who let THESE guys in?? The patio at Rhythm Lounge is one of the nicest around... nice breeze and a great view of Pine Ave. Of course, lots of people made their way out to the patio, like Suzanne and Naomi. And of course "Tall" Phil (not so tall sitting down) At 11pm Johanna and Patricia brought their "magic" to the party! The energy always picks up when they start performing. Time to take the party to the next level! And we did.... Rhythm Lounge is a good looking club, but we brought in ALL the lighting and staging to make it even better! And by 11:30 we were slammed! When the clock struck 12, it was "Showtime!" Time to give away some cash! Every TGirl Saturday, I give away Cash and Gift cards from various merchants. This night, I gave away $50 gift cards to Macys and the Cheesecake Factory and $300 in Cash! I had my friend Krista help me out with the raffle. Time to gather up the crowd (which is easy when you give away free money :) Here are some of our Winners! After the Raffle was completed, we not only reopened the dance floor but we opened up "The Lounge", an additional section of the club that has more chairs and tables and couches. This quickly became one of the hits of the evening...an area where you could kick back, relax and converse without loud music or smoke being an issue. This night was all about our community, our lifestyle, our friendships. I am flattered and honored to throw a party and have so many wonderful people come out to join me. I want to personally thank you for coming out and being a part of an amazing night!
