It was great to see Miriam and her friend as well.

Raja drops by the Palms every now and then to catch the show and up with old friends and it always revs everyone's engine up when she does. Mine is belt driven, as you can see LOL

I'm on more of a DVD than a theatrical premiere schedule with these pics from the Queen of the Universe pageant back in November, but the stars in them are still just as brilliant. Juliana and Maria Roman, who were in the pageant. Leslie Munroy was there to perform. It was good to see my friend Yasmin Lee. Malani is a past winner of the pageant. Sapphire and her friend were there to support the contestants, and my good friend Dolly was there and was the first one to send me a pic, from her phone. and finally, since my name is on the marquee, a pic of just me :)

Then I went to the Palms in West Hollywood to see Viva at her Club Illusions for while before closing out the nite at Goddess at MJs with Leslie Munro, who hurried there after MCing the pageant, and so can be forgiven for resting her eyes for a second :). I hadn't been there in a while, so it was good to see her and other friends, like Nomi and Rob and Diane and mi hermanita hermosa Patricia. They say no matter how far you roam, you are never far from home, but sometimes, you have to roam a little to stay close

sadly, the R now stands for regrets, as Club Myxx at the R Lounge in Studio City is no more. My friend Laura, who has been running Club Shine at the Oxwood tried to get a new night going at a new club, but it didn't take off. It was a really gorgeous setting and she is a consummate hostess, but Wednesdays are a tough nite to have a club in LA so it only lasted a couple of months. I was glad I made it there before it closed and mixed it up with my great friends Dania and Sabrina

This blog got a holler on Hollie Steven's hip and hot personal blog. I am lucky to meet a lot of really cool people, but meeting her was really a highlight for me. She is fun and beautiful and vital and brave. I've been following her on twitter, where she humorously but fearlessly tweets about her battle with breast cancer and in person, she is even more inspiring than she is in 160 character snippets. I don't think you can get a bet down on this kind fight, but if you could, my money would be on her for all the spunk and spirit she shows, no matter what the odds.

My friend Lola is a Mexican sweetie, if ever there was one. She used to be the DJ at the Palms and is now hosting Pan Dulce Thursday nites at Mickeys in West Hollywood. Its a wild scene, with a huge crowd enjoying Latin Pop on the ground floor, and hip hop on the second and Lola working the mike and the stage back and forth between them. It was great to see her and Yesi, another friend who used to work at the Palms again and try something tasty and new, with my old friend Carolina

Speaking of something new, Tranzit, my friend Veronica's club was at a special location this week, so we checked it out at the Beauty Bar in Hollywood. We visited here for a while and then cleared the bar to vault over to Mickeys for the rest of the night.

or maybe Eva Stevens, since I got to meet Hollie Stevens and Eva Linn, who were with my buddy Buddy Wood at the Palms. I've been following Hollie on Twitter as she very bravely faces cancer. This nite, she did so in clown paint. She is an amazing, courageous person, with an incredible spirit, and I was awed and gratified to finally get to know her in person. Eva is also amazing, in her own, healthy way, and is one of the new and rising stars in the scene. She is as nice as is she is gorgeous and its been nice to see her now and again since then.

Along with these two sirens, I had to pose with another one, outside the club :)

We came back from Phoenix for my friend Gia's birthday party Saturday night at the Oxwood Inn. She is one of the nicest, most talented girls in the scene and is know for her energetic dance moves, which she puts on every Monday and Friday at the Palms, often with my friend Natasha who is just as talented and nice. Buddy has opted to expand his Sunday Nite strip club to Fridays instead. While thats great for him and for all of the dancers from Blue Moon and their male fans, its not really a place to go socialize. As always seems to be the case here in LA, though, another club has risen to shine in its place. Club Tranzit has been going for a few weeks now, though I haven't been able to make it yet. Queen USA

There are 50 states in the USA but at the Queen USA pageant, for my friends, the 51'st state was one of perfection.

That's Aubry, who entertained at intermission. Next to her, Rose and Julianna and Melissa who competed and were finalists.

Below them, my great friend Maria Roman, a past winner, who acted as a judge, and mi hermana hermosa Patricia

Below them, its Patricia and Aubrey again, and Vanessa Santillan, who wasn't in the pageant, but easily could have been. She is one of the most gorgeous girls in the scene and is very nice as well

I've posted other pics before from that nite of other friends who are equally perfect. As for me, I wish I could claim citizenship in that state, but I settle for bordering it now and then :)

I'm on Michelle Austin's excellent blog. ) Please check it out and look for her photoshoots on Shemale Yum and all the best TS sites. She lists herself as a plus size model, but there is so much more to add about her than that. She is bright, smart and gracious and more than the sum of her parts (or some of her parts :)

I'm on Scott and Ben's blog again, with some pics from Rhythm Lounge in May. Jamie put on a great party, as usual and Scott and Ben put in the effort to take great pictures of it. All I did was put on a new dress and my ass in the car to get there. :)

a quick pic with and pimp for my friend Dani Kay, who is hosting Transmania at the Palms this Saturday, and appearing at Oil Can Harry's, on Sunday in the show Ressurecting Mary, which brings back some of the really great performers from the old Queen Mary show bar.

The pic is from last Saturday, at the Oxwood, where Dani really rocked the house as Madonna. The other girl in the picture is my friend Natasha, who despite her being younger, prettier, taller and blonder than me, I really like :) She is another great performer and should also be showing off her moves at Transmania. Both girls are really talented but if you have the chance to see Dani do her thing on stage, you will know how special she really is.
