I got to wear shades.  :)  just a fun pic from this past October at the Oxwood Inn for one of Naomi's Trans Wednesdays.  The sunglasses are hers, its her signature accessory,  but she let me try them on for this picture   where I made a spectacle of myself :)

Katt, in this Kim Kardashian dress,  No paparazzi were present, though I did get this pic from my friend  Rael and the other one from Lora G, the hostess of the club and the webmistress of the TGCD.net, her community  website where pictures from the club and other So Cal events are hosted.

They say its your birthday..

but not my birthday too.  Especially since mine is in December, and this is a very belated post about my good friend Gia's birthday, back in September.  It was the same night as the Bienestar pageant so I had to skip out before they announced the winner to hop down to the Palms.  Gia was part of a blow out show with Viva Sex before the blow out of the candles on her cake, with Carla, and Natasha.  Kim Fowley, who is something of a lost Rock legend was also there for the festivities.

Welfare Queens

Bienestar, in Spanish, means welfare but not in the same sense we use the term here in the States.  Its more about well being.  The Bienstar organization here in LA does a wonderful job helping the  LGBT community to be and fare well.  One of the more visible ways they do so is with their annual transgender pageant.  I always benefit by attending, as I did this year by seeing my friends Haven and Isabela, and mi hermana hermosa, Patricia.
